NZB.cc Review

NZB.cc is a “minimalistic NZB search engine”, having two simple goals; simplicity and efficiency.  On their website, there are no fancy features, but only search box is available. NZB.cc is different from other NZB search engines due to fact that it sorts the results according the relevance, unlike other search engines that sort results by date.

Indexing

Currently, their servers are indexing 3000 groups, 600 days retention is available and there is a 2 hour delay before newly posted content is searchable. The search result list will only contain posts that have finished uploading and are at least 50 MB. Additionally, PAR2 repair blocks are shown. NZB.cc does not index posts that are password secured.

Appearance

Regarding its appearance, its clean look is similar Binsearch. As stated in the introduction, it has minimalistic user interface.

Additional filters

There are no additional filters; search can be performed only by the post name.

Price

NZB.cc is free; there are no “hidden fees” for better search results. The website is also free of any advertising.

Speed

From what we have tried, NZB.cc has superb speed, bringing the results back instantly.

Conclusion

NZB.cc is great refreshment within NZB search world, as it has great speed, ease of use and it brings out highly relevant results.
